As a certified athletic trainer, Jason brings a health-centered and unique perspective to the Shift team. Through his work with a diverse array of athletes at the University of New England, he has gained an in-depth understanding of the dynamics involved in movement and injury.
Jason holds a master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Sport Science and Health from Loughborough University (UK) which has further supplemented his professional experience and has improved his ability to provide evidence-based training to his clients.
Jason believes that the term “functional” is relative and uses that philosophy to guide his training models for individuals from all walks of life. He is able to analyze his client’s unique needs and provide training that is based on injury prevention and performance.
A former collegiate and graduate school lacrosse player, Jason is currently a member of Maine’s semiprofessional box lacrosse team, the Maine Northmen, and coaches with the Maine Mussels club program.
