Training with SHIFT is actually personal!  We use a 3 part methodology to make sure you are achieving your goals as quickly, effectively, and safely as possible.


During your initial hour long assessment, you will be led through a dialogue regarding your health, exercise, medical, and injury history.  We will be able to assess your movement patterns using a FMS (functional movement screen) which will allow us to determine which joints are mobiliers or stabilizers, which movements are uneven or asymmetrical, and which movement patterns may require specific corrective exercise strategies.  Following your initial assessment, reassessments are constantly made to track your progress.

Program Design

During this process, we take all the factors discussed in the evaluation phase and turn them into actionable exercises programs.  These programs are reviewed by the whole team at SHIFT to make sure all ideas are explored.  Depending on what your goals are, this may include dietary advice.


This is the x-factor that can take your fitness to the next level.  We design and build programs for you to take with you.  We teach you the proper techniques and how to use all the tools at SPTC including foam rollers, kettlebells, TRX, ViPR, NuBells, and olympic bars so you know what to do when you go to the gym.  No more walking around aimlessly wondering what to do!  We also offer a full array of classes including circuit training and yoga to our clients to get even more guided training from the SHIFT staff.
